WANTED - Bar and Beverage management teacher

Here in the Philippines, Hotel and Restaurant Management schools are very much in demand to the extent that they keep on popping up like mushrooms. It's a very good business if you look at it in a different perspective since the school will get prospective clients every year. For these trying times schools have even lowered their fees so that the student can enroll in their schools.

In good business, in order for the school to entice enrollments, it should invest on its facilities and personnel. And depending on their target market, they should price their fees accordingly.

One prerequisite of this course is called Bar Management/Beverage Management.
This course generally deals with the subject of bartending both in theory and application. This course should supposedly have a Lecture part and a Laboratory part.

Unfortunately, some schools compress it into one preparation.Compared to other countries, we don't really have a solid bartending school. Bartending is just a part of some other trainings.

Can anyone just teach this subject? Does having a masteral degree make one qualified to teach this subject?

Ideally, this subject should be taught by a professional bartender with a good grasp of English and a gift of teaching. Unfortunately, we cannot have everything.
If you really would like to pursue this profession, you must check if these traita are possessed by the instructor.

Why are these qualifications important?
1.Professional Bartender - Professional doesn't necessarily mean that he can flip 3 or more bottles(it doesn't follow folks).
Being professional means he has embraced the profession for a period of time and has been practicing and learning from it continuously. In order to share your knowledge you must have a very good background about it.Better if you still practice it.

2.Good grasp of English- Well this should be a no brainer but just to prove this point, English is still the medium of instruction. Most Liquors, tools, glasswares, and even terminologies are all in English and it would be best if you know how to speak, read and understand the language.

3.Gift of teaching - Now this is the clincher. God has given us talents and I would like to think that teaching is one very important gift. Not anybody can relay messages effectively to people. It's like if we go back to the 12 apostles. These guys were chosen. That is why there are courses offered on public speaking because it is harder than it looks. Not everyone can catch the attention of 300 students or 50 students in 1 and a half hours until 5 hours. Some people are good individually no doubt...but for them to share and transmit their talents or learning is another story.

These are simple qualifications really, no need to read the dictionary...but I guess in relation with the 3 trait one must have PASSION in teaching.

  1. Working as bar and beverage management teacher i agree this to enhance the capability of the student not in the way to the fees of the tuition make sure the student are learned about the discussion in the class because after the graduation more share to the other new students rewarding experience. It is not everyday that you have the opportunity to work in a kitchen at least in the mixing of the beverages with 150 colleagues an assist in producing up to 10,000 meals of a very high standard. P&O can present this career.

We define TEACHING as the work of teacher, guidance or instruction, and something that is taught, but most specially it is something to be done with passion, someone who has a heart in sharing their knowledge and talents. Unfortunately, we all know that nobody is perfect, no one has everything, we may have a professional bartenders but he may not have a good english communication skills and a gift of teaching, and vice versa. Even there is lacking, everyone should have a chance to share whatever he has to share, with passion everything can be perfect and we have to be thankful that we have good teachers at hand. Because we are having more opportunities with the knowledge and talents they are sharing. Just a thought, that even if bartending is just a part of training in our school, we have to be serious about learning everything, we should give our heart to these things.

On this subject and from my perspective. It is not only the rookie (*Bartender). in my case i really admire teacher who are professional in playing flairing bottle, it's a big deal for me and give me a lot with the knowledge and talents they are sharing.i'm not good but trying it difficulty,i'm a good student but lack of talents especially on these sharing talents, who seems to think that there only responsibility is to the patron on the other side of the bar, and totally neglet or are oblivious to their side of the bar. I could go on and on but I think most bartenders realize these short comming ,it is just that no one seems to want to correct them
    * Bartender should actually be removed from the english language It is a long lost art. but speaking english fluently is a mass Instead! maybe it would be better to classify this job discription as Counter person. If you want to have a successful career – you must know how to act professionally if not you will lost job.

As for my point of view, it is not really necessarily that the teacher should be professional or not as long as she or he has a vast knowledge about the subject matter, being passionate, well verse and the ability to share the knowledge they have is an A+. Its also be a combination of professionalism, skills and experience all in one, if all possesses by the individual the rest maybe or should be followed. So as for me the question is not necessarily if the person is a professional or not, its a question if he or she is capable or able to....

    Passion is happiness!

It's like working in a office if you have no passion on your job it will be though.

For teaching, teaching is a one way of communicating and sharing your knowledge to others, A mood of a professor , instructor and teacher can have effects on teaching, as what i said passion is happiness, if you have no passion, you are not enjoying teaching,So teaching is hard but if you have passion on it even the inexperience student will learn a lot from you.
Communication with other people is very important especially with our course, if we got hire in other country English is the most widely used language.for me learning needs patience, time and passion, things can't be fast forward we need to sacrifice time so that we can achieve our goals.

One of the traits is Gift of Teaching, it's not like that, a knowledge to share is more on experiences.I really admire a teacher who are good and professional in playing flairing bottle for me, it's hard to do that so every time i saw playing that i was totally amazed so hopefully i will learn that...

after reading this, the first thing that pop-up in my mind was that , Teaching is Patience and passion. i say patience because we all know that being a teacher ,you must be patient in everything that you do in order for you to be a good or not just good but to be a professional teacher. and Passion it means dedication for what you we're doing and also loving what you are doing. it is important because even if you feel tired and no matter how hard it is you are still joyfully happy. and i really admire those teacher who has this traits, it is said that Teaching is a gift, a gift from God well it's true even if we're not teacher it doesn't mean that we can't teach, its just a matter of professionalism. so i am so amazed for those teacher who are professional in teaching bar and beverage management, those who are flaring a number of bottle,it really amazed me that sometimes i feel like doing it but i know that i need to know and learn it first. so i hope we will be able to learn everything about bar and beverage management by the help of a Passionate teacher.

Teaching is a hard profession. But in my point of view, being a teacher is not about if your're professional or not. It's about how will you encourage the students on doing such things and to be a good role model to them. And as a teacher, they should have the will and passion on teaching. And to be an ideal bar and management teacher they should embraced the profession that they chose and has been practicing and learning from it continuously so that they have enough experienced and knowledge to share on their students. And must have a very good background about what they're teaching.I want to learn about bartending and flaring bottles.I hope I can learn the things I should know about this subject.

Being a teacher is a hard job/profession. Professor's are really important , because they are the inspirations of the students. As of today, Teachers must have the passion and patient in teaching. They must have qualify the said traits to become a good teacher/professor.I really want to learn about in mixing cocktails and flairing a bottle. I hope that teachers will have the passion and patient to teach us, because not every student can easily catch up in doing it. because being a student like us, it is difficult for us to learn that kind of subject . Teachers must have the passion and patient is teaching us.

I remember my teacher told me that " TEACHING IS A PASSION, not A PROFESSION" the professor must have these traits to be a role model to us, It's all about your passion in sharing your knowledge and be an inspiration to student, it's not just having their salary every 15days but sharing their experiences to us students and as we go along we can apply the learnings in our future careers.

    "it's all about the flaring.."
That's the common misimpression with Bartending. When in fact it is just part of the game. As with any profession, there are not only skills but also knowledge. I agree with the blogger about teaching Bartending management should not be taken for granted. It might not involve all those complex algorithms or the head-pounding scientific processes, but, nevertheless it deals with complex mix of drinks/recipes, precise execution and flawless presentation of each. Easy? I beg to differ..
A good bartender's stage is behind the bar of food establishments or any type of bar. While a GREAT bartender's stage is not only behind the bar, but also in a classroom, in front of students who are hungry for his/her intellect, most importantly, his experiences.

Kids now a days thinks bartending is just a simple job that everybody can be qualified. Just do the "flaring" and you're in. well in that case, they're wrong. Bartending isn't about how good you can flare. One of the skills of bartending is "flaring". "ONE OF THE SKILLS" it doesn't mean if you can flare, you're already a bartender. A bartender is the one who serves drinks (usually alcoholic) behind a counter in a bar, pub, or other establishments. He should have skills that is suitable for bartending and should have professionalism in order to do his job well. :)

As i read this article, I realize that being a teacher is not very easy to stand. Like in this case, if you're a teacher in a bar tending class, you must possess this traits. It doesn't mean that when you're good in flaring or mixing drinks you're qualified enough to teach the subject. You must have both quality of being a GOOD TEACHER and a GOOD BARTENDER at the same time. You have to use you're proper etiquette regarding your subject and you have to possess proper skills and enough knowledge in order to professionalize well your job. And also, a teacher must be a good model to his/her students.

You need to have more patience for the students. Teach them well so they can learn well. And they must have the important traits that they must have for them to become successful in teaching. Be a professional bartender when teaching so that the students will inspire you also. And make sure that they enjoy what they are doing. Everyone must appreciate, what they are doing is for us also.

I agree in this part. Overall it comes to Passion, For me this matters the most to be a Good Professor. Even if you are a Professional Bartender, Have a Good Grasp of English and Have the Gift of teaching, Without Passion you cant be a Good Barman Professor naah, Sorry it won't work I guess. Maybe by luck. As a student myself I sense Professors that have passion in Teaching, Even The Professors who are being Good for the sake of the "Evaluation", Maybe I learn something from them, but I can count it with my fingers(FEW).
Professors with passion will do EVERYTHING just so His/Her Student will Learn Many things.

Because at first you should have the three traits that mentioned in the blog and these are being a professional bartender, having a good gasp of English and also having a gift of teaching. And to obtain these you should also have a PASSION in your job not just in being a professional bartender but also having the passion to teach and share your talents, skills and experience in the business.

"Teaching is not a profession; it's a passion. Without passion for your subject and a desire for your students to learn and be the best in the world, then we have failed as a teacher and failure is not an option."

This was once said by my teacher way back in my high school days. Remembering what our teachers have thought to us, is something that we will have forever; the values, the lessons and passion that they've given. Now a days, some teachers we're blinded by the money. Having passion and knowledge on what you're teaching, is an accomplishment not for yourself but also to the students you're teaching, because you're getting all the knowledge through your experience. Others said that, "Experience is the best teacher", so, it means that even our teachers are also learning through their experiences.

It's a pity that society has this mentality about bar-tending to only be about alcoholic beverages, flaring and working at bars, even though there's so much more to it. For me bar-tending is an art. it requires excellent skills and knowledge about bar management and should have pleasing people skills since you need to interact with other people. to actually work in a university i believe that applicants eager to teach this course should have at least 2-5yrs experience and excellent and effective on relaying their knowledge to students. being skillful does not make you a good teacher, being a good teacher means you can relate your lessons to students effectively and proficiently. sadly with today's demands for faculty members to suffice the increasing number of enrolling students as a hotel and restaurant manager, universities have lowered the bar for applicants on this course. because of this, some students are not that knowledgeable or they undermine the course bar management, thinking that its not that important. HRM is not only about being a manager, there are a lot of job opportunity in hrm so students should be great in all aspects so they can be flexible and skillful that company's would be interested on hiring them. the hospitality and tourism industry is booming, if we do not coupe with the trends or upcoming trends and is not knowledgeable on all aspects with regards to hotel and restaurant management we will not succeed in our profession. As julius caesar once said, experience is the teacher of all things. yet how can one teach if one does not have experience? being an educator is a skill that not all can posses. it is a talent that only a few were blessed with. however with today's generation and the booming of schools offering the program hotel and restaurant management, the need to keep up with competitors gets crucial. to keep up with the increasing number of students, institutes are forced to hire more faculty members. however not all newly hired faculty members are equipped with proper skill nor experience in teaching the program's courses.

one of the course that is offered in the this program is the Bar Management. This is in regards with making, serving, tending and managing alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks on hospitality establishments. students must be skilled and knowledgeable in this subject to prevent accidents and mishaps to the guest or to themselves. yet how can one be a skillful and knowledgeable if the one who was assigned to teach them does not have the said traits? sometimes universities take on teachers or instructors who do not even have enough experience when it comes to bar management. yes they may be equipped with skills but what about the education? not everyone can teach. teaching requires good communication skills, relaying what you know or what have been learned to the students. its such a pity that these instances occur. when these circumstances come up, it is usually the students who suffer. they graduate without proper knowledge and worst they undermine or shun barman. they will not be able to see this as a career path for they know minimal knowledge towards the subject.

bar management is a great job opportunity for students taking up BSHRM. yet its sad that people do not take notice to it.

Base on my own opinion i define teaching as a way to inspire and motivate people with their work and yes we need to have these 3 qualification for us to become a an effective professor being a professional of corsz we need to act professionally for the student to follow and also to gain respect as well if dont have any professonalism we will not be respected.and also the students will lack professionalism to speak english fluently also is very important as well now a days we have a lot of foreign students if the professor does not practicing speaking our 2nd language the foreign student will suffer because they can have a hard time to catch up and also english is important all the time they are the one to train the student to speak in english.
Gift of teaching is also very important for the professor to give enough knowledge on what he o she is teaching and also for the students to absorb and apply what they have learned from their professor because without the gift of teaching we are nothing because we dont learn anything .so Its important fotr the professor to have a good teaching skills because they serve as model to the students and they are the kone who give us knowledge of learning:)

Teaching s like a glass full of water, when it is full it is better to transfer it on other glass and not o waste water( knowledge ).
For me, teaching must have standards to set the bars and to be followed in terms of knowledge, theory and experience with these three things i can be assure that i can learn a lot from my teacher and not wasting my time on a teacher who only talks about knowledge and theory. with experience a person can test both knowledge and theory in the actual work place/reality so for me experience is the best learning method.

In my opinion in order to be a good bar and beverage management teacher he must have a passion in teaching. Once he has it the more it would be easier to communicate and impart knowledge to students. To be able to teach bar and beverage management effectively including its theory and application, he must be a professional who has been practicing it and learning from it continuously aside from having amasteral degree. Because I do believe that learning is a continuous process as constant practice makes perfect.

All the said traits are important; most models of learning assume that the purpose of learning is to incorporate new information or skills into the learner's existing knowledge structure and to make that knowledge accessible. It is not necessarily important that the professors are at par with the others, the only thing he must have is the passion to teach and everything will follow. Even though they possessed the traits mentioned, there is no guarantee that the student will learn all the things the professor had taught.
Learning begins with the need for some motivation, an intention to learn. The learner must then concentrate attention on the important aspects of what is to be learned. Since there is no single set of abilities running throughout human nature, there is no single curriculum which all should undergo. Rather, the schools should teach everything that anyone is interested in learning.

I agree with this. For me, teaching is not always having a fixed agenda and being strict, but being flexible. Teaching is also about humor they should not always take it seriously. Good teachers should not teach if the only thing they need is money they have to do it when they really want to, it’s like they’re enjoying being a teacher because teaching is also about having fun.

    subject.
I agreed in the three qualifications stated in this article that an instructor must be a professional, have a good grasp in English and having a gift in teaching. I think these three is important not only in bar and beverage management but in all subjects that deals in hospitality industry.
I agreed that passion is the key in teaching bartending. Passion to learn & passion to teach. Continuous learning in the subject will definitely entice your students to attend your class especially those who really want to learn. But teaching the subject is another thing. Once you learn the basics and become familiar with popular cocktails you can take you new found knowledge to begin creating great spirited concoctions of your own. That one must be a PROFESSIONAL bartender. And the proficiency and fluency in spoken English. As I have seen from your way of teaching, you surely have the God-given gift. I must agree that not anybody can relay messages effectively to people. Though I must say that even if most liquors, tools, glasswares, and even terminologies are all in English that it is a must for a teacher to know how to speak, read and understand the language, as English is mostly used as the medium of teaching in the Philippines. And of course the PASSION!...in teaching. In afterthought, I would like to add that BAR MANAGEMENT, ideally, should always be taught in all schools with a Lecture part and a Laboratory part.

In reality, we only have inadequate number of professors who posses these traits, which is why most students do not understand what bar and beverage management really is. Students tend to take this subject for granted because their professor either lacks experience with the subject matter or does not know how to teach the subject effectively. 45. First, whenever I heard Bartending the first thing that comes in my mind are flaring of bottles and mixing of liquors, then I got very excited that I can have the chance to learn about this subject.

In this blog, I can say that according to my observation, many teachers/professors are not really qualified to their job, because of this matter the high quality education of the university will decrease and the students are just wasting their tuition fee, because they pay and pass the subject without learning or earning knowledge to the subject. That's why it's very important that the professor is highly qualified.

Now that I'm taking BSHRM I'm very excited to learn how to flair and mix liquors. And I know and I expect that our professor in this subject will give us a lot of knowledge.

Reading the blog made me realize that learning the course or subject barman is not that easy, it takes time, effort and money to develop skills and ability. Bar management is not just about flaring, it’s the dedication that students exert to learn from this subject with the help of a professor who has those traits that are necessary for them to effectively teach the subject matter.

"PASSION in teaching" is the fruit of passion in learning. 12 Disciples commanded by Jesus to preach and teach the Gospel. Jesus doesn't care of who they are or what is their identity. But he trust them and give them the great commission to preach the word in all nations. The same with this, we are here not just a student forever but we are here to learn and to excel. this is not about where can we started but this is all bout how can we finish the race that we started. Im so blessed to have a professor like you Sir. Thanks be to God. Let his will be done to this subject. Thank you Sir.

After reading the blog I realized that it is not that easy to teach the subject Bar Management, it requires effort and patience. Learning this subject is not how good a professor is, and even though Bartending is their forte, the students must have their will to learn this subject.

Without proper language skills, these everyday situations become extremely difficult. This is the reason why understanding how to speak English fluently is of paramount importance when living and working in the Hospitality industry. With proper knowledge of the English language, you can succeed in your everyday tasks, as well as gain the skills you need to achieve your career goals.A teacher who can hold the interest of their students and get them involved and excited about what they are learning would be considered a good professor.

Working as bar and beverage management teacher for students to become self-motivated learners, a fervent interest for the subject has to be sparked among them. Teachers can generate interest by sharing purpose and vision and adopting teaching methods based on experience.and that would be all..

School is a vital institution that provides the student quality and relevant education to effectively prepare them in their chosen career. Sad to say, there are schools whose primary concern is to only gain profit and so, the quality of education is affected. With that, how will the students be efficient enough and be equipped with skills and knowledge if schools will not provide them the best education that they need.

Courses like HRM require a complete set of equipment and of facilities to teach the students effectively. Also, a good set of professors who have an experience and knowledge in the said field. But that does not end there, I also agree that these professors should be passionate enough to teach and share the knowledge that they have to their students. Schools need professors whose aim is to make sure that every student will learn skills and of values at the same time. They should not overlook the ability of professors by merely looking at where they have graduated. So, imagine how will it be a successful teaching and learning process if one area is neglected? That’s the sad part of it. The result will be students graduating with a degree and yet will not be able to get accepted because they lack skills.

Moreover, subjects like Bartending Management also require good facilities and also a passionate and knowledgeable professor, but sometimes this has also been taken for granted. The outcome will be students not being able to have a clear grasp of the lessons and not acquiring the necessary skills/techniques that they need. With the stiff competitions of job, students should be able to compete and race on with the other applicants or else they will be left behind. Having the best education will surely make a student more competitive in the outside world. If both the student and the school will only do their part, there will be no problem. Many opportunities await us; we should just be armed with the right skills, knowledge, and values we have learned and acquired.

  52. I envision myself as a well-rounded HRM professional, and I believe that bar and beverage management is one of most essential aspect of HRM. it is important to me that i get an excellent training in the subject of bartending. throngs of high school graduates enroll in HRM programs every year, resulting in the "mushrooming" HRM course offerings. HRM programs at colleges and universities may not ensure the availability of good quality teachers specializing in bartending. Bartending is such a specialized field of practice that bartending schools or rigorous training courses are offered in other countries.

I agree that actual professional experience is one qualification a bar and beverage management teacher must have. nothing can substitute to the skills a bartender acquire from actual practice of bartending over a period of time. it is a field where you one learns the "tricks" of the trade by doing. and, those skills honed through experience are the best input of a bar and beverage management teacher in the classroom. the more experience the teacher is, the more he or she enjoys the credibility as a resource. needless to say, students kind of sense whether a teacher appears to be "talking from experience" or not. that is when the teacher "walk the talk".

in terms of communication skills, it is a great advantage if the teacher is fluent in english because terminologies used all over the world in relation to bartending are in english. now, not everyone is gifted with the talent in public speaking, specifically teaching a class in HRM. knowing extensively the subject matter of bar and beverage management and possessing the skills gained from experience, and a great command in english are indispensable qualificaations.

And last passion for teaching is reflected in his or her great teaching skills, as well as his or her passion for the subject of bartending itself. the three aforementioned traits fused into one special personality make for the much-sought professional bar and beverage management teacher. They are found in the most reputable schools, where highly-qualified teachers get hired.

Whenever I hear students or people say barman/bar tending, the first thing that comes on my mind is serving liquor, flaring 3 or more bottles and mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Bar tending is not easy to learn, there's no masteral about this subject. You need a lot of experience to be a good bat tender.

All of us can teach. of course you must be a professional or knowledgeable about what you are teaching. Also you must speak English fluently to communicate with the students. For now English is our universal language. not all teachers are good in teaching. I mean some of them even they have a degree they cannot explain well the lesson, some of them reads their presentation.

Teaching is one unique talent that GOD gave to us.

Teaching is not only about job. It's all about passion. If one doesn't have the passion in teaching, then why should you pursue this profession?

When someone hears a "bartender", the first thing that will pop-out in their minds is that a bartender is good in flaring bottles and that's it. They think that if a person knows how to flare bottles, they are already bartenders. They don't consider the qualifications that was mentioned above. One should have an experience, shouldn't have only the passion to teach but to love it as you continuously learn it. Next is knowledge about what you're teaching and can explain everything then apply it. It's very important that you can demonstrate what you're explaining. And lastly, one should speak in English as fluent as possible to communicate and influence their students as well.

Bartending; bar management or beverage management is not just about flaring, flipping bottles and mixing drinks. It is not an easy subject of course. Bar management requires time, money, knowledge and skills in order to do this job. Teachers and instructors ought to know the qualifications and traits they must have because no one can just teach this subject without having professionalism in this course. Teachers must understand, learn and possess these simple qualities otherwise their students might be doubtful in learning this subject; or maybe they don’t deserve to be entitle a good teacher and a good bartender to their students. For me, bar management teachers must have an attention-grabbing style of teachings and have a strong passion on it; students would really appreciate that thing.

As we all know being a bartender is not easy it takes effort, hard work, skills an abilities for this, you need to practice and study all about this subject..then being a teacher of this subject, we need a teacher who is professional in this subject or course, because in teaching this, teachers must show there abilities also for this course so that it will be very interesting for the students and can learn also everything and to avoid criticism. slso this is a very expensive one so, we need professionals for this.

As I’ve read the blog it talks about bar management teacher and in able to become a good teacher in bar management or in any subject you must like and love what you are doing. It’s not just reading the books, explaining the lessons, and demonstrating the steps its how you teach, suggest and inspire the students. Teaching creates all professions, so you should posses all of the qualifications such as being a professional bartender to be able to become professional you should continuously learning, know how to understand, write and speak in English because it is our universal language and by Thomas Mckinnon "Be a wonderful role model because you will be the window through which many children will see their future."

  59. Well i think we should rub out our delusion about the bar and beverage profession. Being professional in this field doesn't only mean that you are excellent in flaring bottles or good in mixing beverages this is probably our delusion about this profession. It is a continuous learning means that you should not limit your knowledge. For me the best trait that everyone should posses in order to success in their filed is to have a good communication skill, that's probably the most vital of all nowadays. the ability to speak and listen effectively are the vital contributor to be successful, because how would you be able to share your knowledge or how can you educate others if you can't express yourself well. if you are well educated you can deal with different people at any kind of situations.

They should have characteristics thaw was said above. It's not also enough that you know how to do demonstrations, but also you should know how to explain.

In order to have a good bar management teacher/professor one must have the proper education about every aspect of bar management, one must also have the skills of a professional bartender. The professor must also have a minimum experience of at least 2 years in bar tending in order to teach in any college or university. The professor must also know how to demonstrate it to his/her students properly in order for his teaching to be effective.

I solemnly believe that a good bar and beverage management teacher has to have the 3 qualities that's mentioned above. First, professional experience in teaching, good grasp in english and has a passion in teaching. An aspirant professor should have these traits to show their apprentice the right way of understanding bar and beverage subject deeply. He/she also have to be knowledgeable in communicating in english because of the terminologies used in the said subject. A person that is discipline, well-rounded and has a good trait to adapt different kinds of novice in bar management.

Bartending is one of the most difficult careers but it is also one of the most famous and one of the careers where you can earn high income. You could be a good bartender or a good professor in this field if you love this career because if you love this career, instead of feeling bored, you will find some enjoyment. And if you feel the enjoyment, you'll have a better performance.

  64. Nowadays, hotel and restaurant management became popular to those students who want to pursue their studies in collegiate level because of the course twin promise of better financial future and enjoyment while working. Due to the popularity and innovation of the course, mentors are badly needed which will help in the training and development of the students and be their inspiration in fulfilling such dream. As stated in the above article, definitely teacher/professor shall possess those characteristics coupled with a lot of determination because teaching is not easy. It is noble job and if one lacks a willpower, then, even he has all the 3 qualities stated above he will not be an instrument in shaping our future great professionals.

Teaching is an art. Not everyone has this gift. I Believe that there is two kinds of teaching. One is by verbal. being able to explain verbally. although some teachers possess this gift they lack the experience. all they know is through the educational studies. then we have those that possess the actual experience first-hand bar tending. yes they were taught however not through classes. nevertheless being a bartender is not an easy job, nor will it be easy to teach. one must possess the knowledge, skill and experience to actually convey the art of bartending. most importantly it must come within the heart the desire to teach the patience, in order to pass this incredible path of career.

As far as I know, bartending is a easy profession
something like mixing a liqour and serving a good taste of it, but it's not like that. It's like fashion of you or love what you do, and also you must have this good grasp of english, and you must love what you are doing not just for your self and also for those people who give you inspiration.
